Secondary Lead: Downstream Inquiries Show Positive Momentum, Some Enterprises Restock to Meet Immediate Needs [SMM Lead Midday Review]

SMM News on June 17:

Today, the SMM 1# lead average price dropped by 25 yuan/mt from yesterday to 16,725 yuan/mt. Secondary lead suppliers adjusted their prices in line with the market, with relatively small changes. The ex-factory prices of mainstream secondary refined lead remained on par with the SMM 1# lead average price, with some traders offering quotes at a discount of around 50 yuan/mt. The ex-factory price without tax was approximately 15,800 yuan/mt. Downstream inquiries were positive, with some enterprises restocking based on immediate needs. Due to the limited availability of spot orders from secondary lead smelters, the transactions of secondary refined lead were average.
